Amuro Namie
Customer Rating: Customer Review Rated Excellent - 10 out of 10
Usually ships within 7 days
Release Date: March 12, 2008

The Namie music wave continues.

Hip-pop queen Amuro Namie propelled her popularity to new heights with 2007's Play album, which was accompanied by her same-titled tour. Her latest release sees her joining hands with haircare brand Vidal Sassoon for new CM songs. Namie received stylistic help from costume designer Patricia Field (of The Devil Wears Prada fame) and hairstylist Orlando Pita who used to work with Madonna. Focusing on the theme of "remake", Amuro presents 60s, 70s, and 80s-style songs with her personal touch of modernism. The featured songs are New Look (a cover of the Supremes classic Baby Love), Rock Steady (a dance track that samples Aretha Franklin's same-titled song from 1971), and a remake of Irene Cara's What a Feeling.

B'z
In stock: usually ships within 1 - 2 days
Release Date: April 16, 2008

Entering their 20th anniversary, B'z has accomplished more superlatives than can be listed. Japan's all-time best-selling music act, B'z holds every other record the Oricon has to offer, and they've shown no signs of slowing down over the last two decades. The only thing more impressive than their long-running popularity and commercial clout is their ability to remain rocking and relevant with every release. The 45th single from the iconic rock duo, BURN -Fumetsu no Face- is a stirring signature-style pop rock number with light beats, piercing vocals, and a powerful melody. Respected musicians like drummer Shane Gaalaas and bassist Barry Sparks participated in the recording of the single. BURN -Fumetsu no Face- has also been selected as the new CM song for KOSE. B-sides yokohama and Kibo no Uta ("Song of Hope") add extra bounce to the B'z first release in their 20th year in the music business.
