The ballads of Malaysian diva Fish Leong have long been a favorite amongst Mando-pop fans. Leong topped the charts last year with Kissing the Future of Love, and now she's back with her new album j'Adore. Her latest ballad "Adore" is the theme song to the new Taiwanese film The Most Distant Course, directed by Lin Jing Jie and starring Guey Lun Mei. Composed by Pang Xue Bin with lyrics by Chen Mei Tian, the song highlights Leong's trademark strong, sweet vocals. "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and "I Decide" are actually the same song with different lyrics. The melody was chosen from a pool of over 700 demos, while the lyrics were selected out of close to 100 submissions. Because Leong and various production team members all felt very strongly about the lyrics, the singer ended up recording two different versions of the song, offering two different interpretations of the beautiful melody.

The initial pre-order edition comes with a 2008 calendar, 101-page booklet, and The Most Distant Course preview DVD.

I bought this edition for the calendar, photo notebook, and concert highlights DVD since I already have the commemorate edition! I felt a bit disappointed though...once again, the calendar was those cheap calendar cards instead of an actual calendar. The DVD lasted for about 5 minutes and ended; only showed footage in MV style! The photo notebook didn't have as many photos as it did pages for you to write on! ='( I wanted moooore! >_<

I don't think u should get this edition if you're wanting j'adore! I think the commemorate edition will please you more! On the plus side though, I'm DEFINITELY buying Fish's new concert tour once it's released on DVD!! She's SO SWEET to her fans and the stage looks BEAUTIFUL... *o* Her outfits are a bit silly and very eyecatching..but that's alot like her personality! I can't wait to see the show >_< !!!!!

As for the album tracks themselves, they're sooo good! I don't skip not even one! ^_^ Fish's voice is.......once again, I must say it! Hehehehe...it's AMAZING!!! Soooo beautiful......and Fish is so cute! n_n-V

I must say this is not the best album of Fish but it's better than the previous album. I like 'Adore' and 'C'est La Vie'. Other songs is so so, not too good, not too bad.

This is another Chinese language artist I tried recently! =O Her voice is Ooooooo soooo GORGEOUS, first of all. I had to have the CD after hearing a song from this album on Youtube. T_T her voice alone is enough to move me to tears!! She sings like an angel and the songs were sooooo sweet and endearing. I will most certainly buy more!!!! Though the album was mainly full of ballads, it was not boring in the least. It's pure perfection put into song. *o*

Oh my goodness! I LOOOOOOOOVE this CD. *hearts in my eyes!* Oooooooooo! Experience it! =D Buuuuuuuuuy! Hehehehehehe!!!!!!!

i didn't really like this album, all the songs were really boring and had no memorable melody. I usually like jasmine b/c she has really sweet songs and a really sweet voice. i was very disappointed.
