YesAsia Editorial Description

The Chinese music scene's very own Super Junior has arrived! Korea's Super Junior continues to conquer the hearts of fans all over the globe. Reason enough for the SM dream factory to come up with the new sub-group Super Junior M (with "M" standing for "Mandarin"). Super Junior M consists of Super Junior members Han Geng, Si Won, Dong Hae, Ryeo Wook, and Kyu Hyun, plus two newcomers - Chinese-Canadian Henry, who earlier featured in the Don't Don music video, and Zhou Mi from China. Though the group's formation has been greeted with great controversy by fans, Super Junior M is forging ahead with their Chinese debut album Me.

Me features twelve tracks including Mandarin covers of Super Junior hits U, Don't Don, Marry U, Full of Happiness, and Miracle. There are five brand new Chinese songs like title track Me and The One, which was written in support of the Beijing Olympics. The group also offers a beautiful cover of Sandy Lam's classic "At Least I Still Have You" (Track 3). Last but not least, for Korean speaking fans, Super Junior M offers Korean covers of Me (Track 13), Love Song (Track 15), and Dang shin ee gi ae (Track 14).

Super Junior has always been an on and off kinda thing for me since I am Chinese and dont understand them so once I heard about this album coming out I was dying to buy it. I naturally speak cantonese so my mandarin isnt 100% perfect, but I could tell that Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun's mandarin was...and since Siwon had lived in China and his role in the Hong Kong movie I didnt doubt his mandarin. My top five songs that were my favourite were:
1)至少還有你 (Track 3)
2)U (Track 2)
3)這一秒 (Track 11)
4)Marry U (Track 8)
5)The One (Track 12)

至少還有你 has always been one of my favourite songs, but when I heard this version I was totally blown away. This was the first song I listened to and automatically I could tell how hard the Korean members of the band had worked for this album. U has always been my favourite suju song and now I can sing along with it and know wut they are saying! 這一秒 was one of the new songs but still really good...Henry's english rap was awesome. Marry U was as good as the original. The One was a song written for the Olympics and when I heard it I was just speechless. It is an amazing song. It really tested each members vocals. And as usual Ryeowook and Kyuhyun voice was unbelieveable! And this song really lets you see how incredible Zhoumi's voice is.

I have never really agreed with the Only 13 thing...I mean I get how people feel about wanting everything to stay the same and be the original and everything and I agree with that, BUT give SJM a chance. They have worked very hard for this and this album proves it. Plus, give Henry and Zhoumi a chance because they have worked hard and they are extremely talented. Zhoumi's voice is just amazing and undescribable. Plus, Zhoumi wrote the chinese lyrics for three of the songs, 愛你愛你 (Track 5), Marry U (Track 8), and 渴望 (Track 10). When Henry first sorta debuted in the Korean version of Don't Don I thought that he was very talented so hearing him sing in SJM made me very happy. If you're not giving this album a chance because of Henry and Zhoumi then you are truly missing out on not only 2 very talented guys, but you are also missing out on the tremendous work done by the original Super Junior members especially from Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and Siwon since they are singing in a totally unfamiliar language.

This album consists of 6 remakes of Super Junior songs, remake of Sandy Lam's 至少還有你 (Track 3), and 3 new and original songs making one AWESOME album!
加油!!!
我會一直支持你們!!!

Satisfaction Guaranteed Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I had bought & begun to listen SJM (Me) 1st album about 2 months ago & I still listen to it everyday. I love to listen & to feel the excitement & passion behind the voices of SJM most especially Kyunhyun added by Ryoewook. This album is to die for. Another thing I like about this album, it has a booklet w/ each picture of the SJM member. They all look sexy & adorable. Today 08/03/08, I came back visited this site again to buy their DVD. I tell you won't regret buying this CD.

SUJU M Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
i was against this subgroup, but this album is awesome :D
if you can only buy one this summer, i recommend buying Don't Don instead, but this album is also stunning!
this will be better than what you buy in stores (i know cause i accidentally bought two, but different versions)
anyways for suju fans around the world
if you are reading this because youre not sure whether to buy this album, get it! its gonna be better than you think, its also worth more than its price. it also includes a photobook (the pictures are to die for) and a lyric book (both chinese and romanized/pinyin)
i recommend it even if youre a new suju fan, or not one at all xD

enjoy~

SuJu M.. better than SuJu?? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
So many have been saying ONLY 13 and yes somehow I can understand them but seriously. GIVE them a chance first! + They want them to break the Chinese market.. therefore SuperJunior M!! As for me I have never been a huge SuJu fan, I have listened to their song, watched their MV's, shows etc. Still they are so many in 1 group and to be honest, some of them has NO talent at all, in my opinion. This group however proves it wrong, by adding two chinese speaking people and let HanKyung(HanGeng) come forward and become the leader has made them change. This album has been talked about for months, also all various versions, which to choose, what's the difference etc.

As for the songs on this album, There are some totally new tracks and some old SuJu songs that has been re-written into Chinese. Still I have had a slight problem with them since I'm used to the Korean versions however they have done an amazing job because they really sound good. Also they have mixed the vocals well on this album!
Also this Korean edition comes with Korean versions of some of the songs, which is a happy surprise. SuJu M still wants to reach out to their Korean fans despite the trouble they have gone through since they were formed.

Is SuJu M even better than SuJu?? I'd say that they have proved many people wrong. ONLY 13 is yesterday, SuJu M is today and tomorrow. They are less people and they can focus more on uniting the group into one. It's also easier to form them.

Both Henry and ZhouMi are to happy surprises and I think that they will grow much and learn along the way, since the other ones has been in this business longer. Also since Henry also speaks English it could help them make it even longer, maybe reach US or other countries.

This album is great! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I heard the songs were good, and as I listen to them, I was convinced. This version comes in a dvd looking case with a booklet of the lyrics in chinese, chinese romanization, korean, and korean romanization. In addition, there is a "thick" picture booklet that has really cute pictures of the members. This album is more than I had hope for.
