NEWS leader Yamashita Tomohisa heads to the silver screen in March 2008 with Kurosagi The Movie. Reprising the swindler role from his hit television drama, Yamashita has a new theme song to offer, this time as a group. Kurosagi theme song Taiyo no Namida comes as NEWS' first single of 2008. Mixing in traditional instruments for an exotic sound, the song starts with a distinctive punch and has a moody, upbeat melody that matches the catchiness of Daite Senorita. This single release also features the side track Utsukushi Gite Beautiful Eyes.
The First Press Limited Edition comes with a 6-page booklet (different from that of the Normal Edition) and the bonus track Banbina.

Addictive!

Taiyo no namida is a really addictive song~!! It's so catchy and I love the background music...sounds very different. I also really like 'Bambina' - it has a bit of a techno dance feel to it, and I absolutely love Tegoshi's voicals in it. Overall, this is a pretty good single. |
