M) releases the special mini album The Sentimental Reason, dedicated for his fans just in time for Valentine's Day. Jam-packed with a luscious range of musical genres from funky jazz to soul, the entire album offers plenty of sonic aphrodisiac. Featuring some of the best funky jazz performers in the business such as Seo Young Do, Jang Hyuk, Gill Eun Kyung, and Kim Dong Ha, The Sentimental Reason comes with a total of 6 tracks, all drowned in heart-tugging romanticism and sentimentalism. 2008 marks a major turning point in M's life, as his career will be put on hold for two years due to compulsory military service. But his devoted fans know that M will make his way back home armed with renewed vigor and passion for his music.

I am not really a Minwoo fan, more of a Shinhwa fan but i got curious on this Sentimental Album and it turned out to be good. I honestly like the first 2 songs, really nice voice. First time i have appreciate his voice... soothing to your ears. Worth burning!!! |

| This is my second CD by Lee Min Woo. I've just become his fan after I listened to all the tracks which are wonderful and relaxing. He has proven to be a versatile singer with a wonderful voice and excellent singing skills. He captures the moods of each song nicely. If you like jazzy music and ballads, get this CD! You will be pleasantly surprised like I am. He almost got a perfect score from me with the exception of Track 3 because of the rapping and it still managed to get a 4 stars rating from me. Highly recommended! |

Lee Min Woo is still growing into his own character as a solo artist and producer, and so far hes done an exceptionally good job. The tracks featured on the mini-album are all accented with a personal touch of jazz and contemporary music styles blended well to create its own atmosphere. Both versions of "Believe In Love" are delightful to help set any romantic mood, and his long-awaited "Just One More Night" is a great spin-off of the first album title track original, "Just One Night." It shows the artist's maturity growth from his debut as a soloist till now, his 3.5 mini by the distinct shift of music style from pop and R&B to something smooth and jazzy. "Back To The Funk" is exactly what it's called - funky and fresh. This upbeat tune is both catchy and enjoyable. The Sentimental Reason shows us a more mellow, mature, and romantic side of the usually sexy chameleon we know. Its a wonderful, light, and refresh flavor of music to add to any M collection.
