Originally from the planet Nebula M78, Ultraman came to Earth in pursuit of his enemy Bermular, but accidentally crashed into a plane, killing the pilot. Filled with remorse, Ultraman merged himself with the human, restoring the man's life, but also enabling him to withstand Earth's environment. Ultraman could now live amongst us, going unnoticed until he was needed to protect the World from invaders. In his true form, Ultraman stands forty minutes high but due to life-threatening energy depletion, he can only do this for three minutes at a time, so he wears a color timer on his chest to warn him.
